Bank Of Erin Romps in at Sapphire Coast

Somebody forgot to tell Bank Of Erin that usually a horse cannot do anything wrong in a 900 metre race and still win.

Drawn the inside barrier, Bank Of Erin dwelt at the start and was at least two lengths last after jumping. Brodie Loy urged Bank Of Erin forward, and thanks to her inside draw, she was able to retain the fence and quickly found the lead. Brodie steadied her and gave her her head on straightening.

Bank Of Erin bounded away to win by four lengths on the line. The race was run in a very fast 50.57 seconds and she ran the last 600 metres in 32.66 seconds. She did all of this carrying top weight of 60kg against a much more experienced field.

Bank Of Erin has now had four starts for two wins and two seconds and is clearly headed for better things. Congratulations to her owners and we trust that the success continues.
